Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route to customers.
• Load your truck as needed depending on volume.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace and foster our safety culture.
• Organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest to assure the most efficient delivery route and schedule.
• Act as a problem solver for customers; provide customer support, accept product returns, and be empowered to make customers' day.
• Represent the brand on wheels and be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company; must remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (no THC) to the extent legally permissible.
• Obtain a 6‑month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime required based on business need.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push and pull items up to 400 lbs with assistance of hand carts/material handling equipment, and occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1‑year of truck driving experience (operating a 16 ft or longer straight truck) or comparable driving experience.
• High volume package delivery experience.

Pay

Competitive Pay: $23.00‑$25.25/hour based on experience. Ability to earn additional compensation through our Safety Program.
