Delivery Driver
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive & Deliver Safely
- Operate a CDL-required delivery truck in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Load, secure, transport, and unload millwork materials with care and precision
- Navigate active job sites safely while maintaining a professional presence
- Protect Quality
- Inspect millwork prior to loading and verify all items match delivery documentation
- Secure loads using straps, padding, tarps, or banding to prevent damage
- Deliver materials to the correct locations and unload safely and accurately
- Maintain a clean truck and hazard-free work environment
- Support Production
- Aid in packaging to ensure damage-free transport
- Stay on schedule to support production and installation timelines
- Communicate delivery updates or job-site challenges to the production team
- Provide feedback to improve packaging, loading, and delivery processes
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) — required
- Clean driving record and strong history of safe driving
- Ability to lift and move materials (typically 50–75 lbs)
- Ability to read, follow, and organize delivery tickets and schedules
- Comfortable using GPS and basic mobile apps for routing and communication
- Must be able to work outdoors and on active job sites in various conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old (or CDL age requirement for your state)
