Delivery Driver

About the role

PTSolutions is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. Reliability and customer satisfaction are key for this role, which involves picking up and dropping off items along assigned routes and schedules with utmost consideration for safety and timeliness. When not on deliveries, drivers may assist the warehouse team with tasks such as order picking, inventory management, and cycle counts. Our delivery drivers are the primary representatives of our company and must present themselves professionally while being passionate about delivering superior customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Superior customer service where going above and beyond is the norm
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating superior customer service and setting the example for other staff
• A professional presence that creates trust and credibility
• Loading, transporting, and delivering high-quality products to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Assists with loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles
• Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process
• Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and delivered to the correct customers
• Adheres to assigned routes and follows schedules
• Abides by all transportation laws and maintains a safe driving record
• Prepares reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Assists with warehouse duties (picking orders, cycle counts, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to frequently stand, twist, bend, and lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail

Location: This position is based in our San Jose, CA facility, so only candidates residing in the Silicon Valley area will be considered.
