Responsibilities
- Delivers prescriptions, OTC items, paperwork, etc. to patients (including any DME supplies the pharmacist has deemed complete).
- Communicate well with the store team to be able to provide exceptional customer service.
- Aid in maintaining a clean, professional, friendly work environment.
- Aid with other tasks designated by the pharmacy manager.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Pick up payment, paperwork, signatures, and materials from patients.
- Pick up and deliver items between GRX Holdings stores.
- Perform clerical functions such as going to the bank to make bank deposits and get change orders, taking mail to the post office, delivering gifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematic calculations which would normally be acquired through secondary education, or through equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively deal with the public.
- Neat appearance.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent navigational ability.
- Good driving record.
- Delivery Drivers are required to register with the state Board of Pharmacy for identification, tracking, and disciplinary action.

Schedule
- This is a part time position working every other week, rotating weeks with another delivery driver.
- Estimated 10 hours per week.
