Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Delivers prescriptions, OTC items, paperwork, etc. to patients (including any DME supplies the pharmacist has deemed complete).
• Communicate well with the store team to be able to provide exceptional customer service.
• Aid in maintaining a clean, professional, friendly work environment.
• Aid with other tasks designated by the pharmacy manager.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Pick up payment, paperwork, signatures, and materials from patients.
• Pick up and deliver items between GRX Holdings stores.
• Perform clerical functions such as going to the bank to make bank deposits and get change orders, taking mail to the post office, delivering gifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematic calculations which would normally be acquired through secondary education, or through equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively deal with the public.
• Neat appearance.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent navigational ability.
• Good driving record.
• Delivery Drivers are required to register with the state Board of Pharmacy for identification, tracking, and disciplinary action.

Schedule

• This is a part time position working every other week, rotating weeks with another delivery driver.
• Estimated 10 hours per week.
