Delivery Driver

About the role

This position involves delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes, installing, hooking up, and testing products in customers' homes, following a schedule, loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating a delivery vehicle, operating a tommy lift gate in various weather and traffic conditions, adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards, lifting and moving a minimum of 50 to 100 lbs, having a valid driver's license and clean driving record, operating multiple types of vehicles, possessing excellent organizational skills, working independently, managing time effectively, communicating effectively, maintaining relationships with current customers and vendors, being 18 years old or older due to insurance requirements, and having flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes. - Install, hook up, and test products in customers' homes. - Follow route and schedule. - Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle. - Operate a tommy lift gate in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. - Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards. - Lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100 lbs. - Drive multiple types of vehicles, including box trucks and express vans. - Possess excellent organizational skills. - Work independently. - Manage time effectively. - Communicate effectively. - Maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors.

Requirements

- 1 Year delivery driving experience required. - Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100 lbs. - Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. - Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van. - Must be 18 years old or older due to insurance requirements.
