Delivery Driver

Misfits Market is a mission-driven, high-growth startup that tackles inefficiencies in the food system by delivering organic produce, high-quality meats and seafood, plant-based proteins, dairy, bakery, wine, and other grocery items to nearly every zip code in 48 states at up to 30 percent off traditional grocery store prices. The company supports its mission by saving an average of 500,000 pounds of food per week from waste or lesser outcomes, with an all-time savings of 190+ million pounds of food.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders directly to their doorstep with professionalism and care.
• Safely navigate varying weather conditions and hazards throughout the shift, both inside and outside the vehicle.
• Use proper lifting form to safely load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50lbs.
• Support the Packaging Return Program by picking up and documenting customer recycling.
• Support the overall delivery volume, which may include helping other drivers complete their routes or working overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Absolutely authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Two years of previous delivery driving experience.
• Comfortable operating delivery van in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Skills

Comfortable operating delivery van in all types of weather conditions.

Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
