The Gig: HUNGRY is hosting a large scale catering gig for a client in the Houston area. We are seeking delivery drivers with experience operating 26ft trucks, a strong understanding of food safety, and customer service skills. Gig drivers will assist with loading, transport, and unloading of food and catering supplies for our client's event. We specifically need drivers available on the Orientation and Gig dates belowDeliveries will last approximately 12 hours on delivery dates belowOrientations: November 2nd (virtual) & November 6th (on-site)Gig Delivery Dates: November 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, and 21stHigh priority for drivers available on these datesHours:8am-8pmSeeking drivers who are available for the entire 12 hour shift (8am-8pm)Pay:Daily payout for 8am-8pm shift: $240.00Equivalent to approximately $20/hrComfortable loading, driving, and unloading a 26ft truckMust have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG checkStrategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY teamOperate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindsetEffective communication to ensure that all elements of the event/delivery are executedHigh level attention to detail and outgoing personalityMaintain professional demeanor and appearance during events Requirements Operate a 26ft rental truckMust have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG checkAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs18+ years of ageAuthorized to work in the USEngaging, energetic, and customer-orientedStrong communication skills and attention to detailFood service, catering, or event experience is a plus Benefits Compensation: Daily payout for 8am-8pm shift: $240.00Equivalent to approximately $20/hr Want to learn more about our HUNGRY platform?
