About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate all store equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Navigate to customer addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
  • Process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Make accurate monetary change and perform basic arithmetic quickly.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
  • Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers.
  • Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., handling orders, using touch screens).

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash).
  • In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
  • Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
  • Handling hot surfaces/tools (ovens up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.

Advancement

Many team members start as delivery drivers and advance to management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate operations roles. Domino's offers a clear path for growth and career development.
