Delivery Driver

About the role

Domino's Pizza is currently seeking qualified drivers to staff stores in various locations. The company is expanding rapidly and offers numerous opportunities for growth, including management positions and franchise ownership.

Job requirements and duties

• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within designated delivery areas.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.

Qualifications

• General job duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, and cleaning facilities.
• Training is provided on the job.
• Required communication skills include understanding and giving written instructions, verbal communication with customers and coworkers, and taking and processing orders.
• Essential functions include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately, making correct monetary change, and using motor coordination to make precise movements.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying trays, and climbing stairs.

Work conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating between hot and cold surfaces.
• Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, handling stress, interacting with people, analyzing data, making decisions, and dealing with people.

Driving specific job duties

• Deliver product by car and to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
