Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Navigate and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.
• Provide excellent verbal communication with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Make correct monetary change and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements.

Skills

• Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct change.
• Ability to work under stress and meet quality control standards.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and make judgments and decisions.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500°F or higher), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks performed while standing for most of the shift, with occasional short-distance walking on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Occasional sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing:
• Lifting cases of ingredients/supplies up to 50 pounds and stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Carrying large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing dollies with stacks of trays (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
• Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or performing maintenance.

Sensing and Physical Requirements

• Talking and hearing on the telephone.
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, including depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Advancement

Many team members start as delivery drivers and advance to successful Domino's franchise owners. Career paths include progression from delivery driver to management, general manager, franchisee, or Manager of Corporate Operations. Domino's stores offer a world of opportunity for growth.
