Delivery Driver

What's the opportunity

Drivers/Installation Technicians provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. They make pick-ups as necessary, perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. This individual must perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner and by performing the duties listed below.

What will you do

• Fill customer orders from DEX warehouses
• Load and unload truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed
• Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed
• Perform other duties including cycle counts, inventory, aiding fellow warehouse team members
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety guidelines and obeying traffic laws

Who you bring to the table

• Must be technically savvy (able to use a computer or tablet)
• 1 to 2 years’ experience driving a commercial vehicle
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Qualified candidates must be able to meet all applicable requirements under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
• Basic math: understand written procedures, write routine documents, and speak clearly; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions is required
• Basic knowledge of safe lifting practices and good driving practices
