About the role
Join our Best-One team - now hiring a Delivery Driver at our Post Rd location! Full-Time: Starting at $20/hr+
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck less than 26,000 pounds.
- Picking up, driving, delivering and unloading per daily designated routes.
- Customer service – deliver product, unload product, accept payments, record check # or other payment method on invoice, take customer complaints.
- Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Interface with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving and putting away product.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
- Must be able to obtain at DOT medical card.
- Able to pass a state Department of Transportation medical exam.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Some distribution supply experience preferred.
- Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
- Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers.
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Able to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
- Able to read and complete instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
- Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
