Delivery Driver

About the role

Asia International, Inc. is a premier protein distributor based in San Francisco, with two offices in Orange County. We are family owned and proud to work closely with vendors, customers, and our internal team to provide the highest quality meat and the most trusted customer service. The warehouse is located in Long Beach, CA (90813), and you will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with required availability Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bobtail 26ft truck to deliver boxed meat (typically 75 lbs per box) to restaurants and markets within established time frames.
• Load and unload delivery trucks physically.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards and ensuring a safe, clean work environment (shelves, pallet area, workstations, shipping supply area).
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Operate company power equipment and trucks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Answer customer delivery questions accurately and establish/maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including:
  • Unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Processing, pulling, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or mailing.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid California driver’s license and experience driving a bobtail 26ft truck.
• 1+ years of paid driving experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, driving, and mapping skills.
• Knowledge of Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego County, and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work safely and quickly in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.
• Clean driving record and clear criminal/drug screen.
• Neat, professional appearance; no visible offensive tattoos; well-trimmed facial hair for male drivers.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and maneuvering in/out of delivery trucks.
• Ability to work in cold, refrigerated temperatures.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle up to 75 pounds using two-handed techniques.
