Delivery Driver

Driving & Delivery Duties

• Drive a delivery van or similar company vehicle to transport products safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for outgoing deliveries.
• Load and unload goods using a pallet jack or manual lifting techniques as needed.
• Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers at all times.
• Review orders and deliveries for accuracy by comparing items to customer packing lists.
• Protect customer materials and documents from damage or loss while in transit.
• Relay customer requests, concerns, or complaints to management upon return.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the workday.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Preferred: Previous delivery driver experience, experience operating a delivery van or similar vehicle, experience operating a forklift (Hi-Lo) and pallet jack, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience, forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
