Delivery Driver Associate

This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. You will also deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using Company vans or pick-up trucks. The role is based at Store #702913 in Bainbridge, Georgia.

Duties involve contact with customers (including minors), handling cash and payments, operating electronic equipment, accessing personal information, and managing store merchandise. A criminal history review is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisors to repair and servicing needs
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, and safety procedures when driving
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, and forklifts

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service (preferred)
• Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish (preferred)
