Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver orders using an insured vehicle, navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

- Ability to navigate cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes.
- Tasks performed from standing or sitting positions, with short-distance walking on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
- Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
- Sensory requirements include talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
