Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver orders using an insured vehicle, navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes.
• Tasks performed from standing or sitting positions, with short-distance walking on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
• Sensory requirements include talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
