Delivery Driver - Addison (Western Chicago Suburb)
Viking Electric is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver in Addison, IL (Western Chicago Suburb).
About the role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This role involves delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
- Transport and deliver products to customers with care
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver's license
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
- Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
- One year of related experience and/or training
