About the role
As a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver, you will deliver orders to designated locations on time with punctuality and honesty. You will ensure orders are delivered correctly and courteously, maintain delivery vehicles, and assist with food preparation, customer orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments (including lifting up to 50 pounds). You will also provide customers with product details, services, charges, and other relevant information.
This role may require working outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, and with dangerous equipment or sharp tools. The job is physically demanding, involving repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.
Responsibilities
- Pre-delivery vehicle preparations
- Learning the delivery area
- Checking orders for quality and accuracy
- Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction (in-person or by phone)
- Food preparation and packaging
- Taking orders and collecting payments
- Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
- Rotating commissary deliveries
Requirements
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Customer-focused with strong initiative
- Cash management skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license for two or more years in the state of employment
- Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract (no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year; no DUI or speeding tickets over 25 mph)
- Insured and satisfactory vehicle
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and emergencies
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained for other restaurant duties
Pay
Hourly wage: $14.80–$16.55, plus tips, mileage compensation (currently $1.60 per run), and reimbursement for data usage. Additional compensation includes credit card/cash tips from customers.
