Delivery Driver | 1st Shift
Your Responsibilities
- Perform timely and accurate pickup and delivery of customer parts
- Maintain delivery logs and shipping documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication
- Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained, serviced, and kept clean
- Safely load and unload customer parts, following handling requirements
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices
- Represent Oerlikon Balzers positively at customer locations and while on the road
Your Profile
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to manage time effectively and work independently
General Physical Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 44 lbs., frequent handling of materials or products.
- Standing, Sitting and Walking: Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for 8–12 hours per shift, moving between workstations or throughout the facility.
- Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, or reaching overhead, handling items at various heights.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers for grasping, assembling, or operating tools/machinery, good hand-eye coordination.
- Climbing: Occasionally climbing ladders, step stools, or stairs.
- Visual and Auditory Requirements: Ability to read labels, instructions, and safety signs, hearing alarms or verbal instructions in noisy environments.
- Environmental Tolerance: Working in hot, cold, or noisy conditions, exposure to dust, fumes, or chemicals (with proper PPE).
- Physical Endurance: Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods, maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
