Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver pizzas using an insured vehicle, navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- 2 years of driving experience with a clean background.

- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and analyze and compile data.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
- Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Deliveries include cases weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Carrying: Items such as large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time).
- Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies (stacks of 24-30 trays requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
- Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance.
Sensory Requirements
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
- Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
