Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and handle ingredients, including stocking, preparation, and inventory.
• Receive and process telephone orders, both over the phone and in person.
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
• Deliver pizzas and other products to customers within a designated area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers as part of delivery duties.
• Perform basic arithmetic for order processing and making correct monetary change.
• Use navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Navigational skills to handle adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, including the use of a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Eye-hand coordination for tasks such as shaping pizza dough and using tools like the pizza peel and cutter.
• Ability to work under varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Capability to handle repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and manage stress in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during deliveries and outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters like walk-in coolers.
• Handling hot surfaces and tools, including ovens up to 500°F or higher.
• Physical tasks include standing for most of the shift, walking short distances, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing dollies, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching required for tasks like stocking shelves, cleaning, and assembling pizza boxes.
