Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated delivery area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination to rapidly and accurately make precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks or deliveries.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters including the walk-in cooler.
• Hot surfaces and tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks require talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision required for driving.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray), and pizzas and beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds.
• Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks such as changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance. Delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist, particularly at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally performed to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously performed in all directions, including above 72" and down to floor level.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, with potential for several deliveries per shift.
