The role requires an individual to oversee the supply chain and manage the distribution process. They are expected to have strong communication skills and a good understanding of logistics management. Reports to the Director of Logistics. Develop and implement effective distribution strategiesMonitor operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of productsCoordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to manage inventory and deliveryEnsure compliance with industry regulations and standardsOversee the hiring and training of distribution staffAnalyze data to make informed decisionsMaintain accurate records of inventory, delivery, and personnelManage the budget for the distribution department Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
