About the role

This is a hands-on technical role that requires an advanced software/systems engineering background. Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required!

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
  • 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience

Qualifications

  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
  • Basic Qualifications: Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
  • Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
  • Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).

  • USA, CO, Denver - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Tampa - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, UT, Salt Lake City - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Herndon - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle - $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
