Delivery Assurance - Intermediate / Senior / Lead

About the role

This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in one of our offices: Louisville, KY; Allentown, PA; or Providence, RI.

Responsibilities

• Support the Solution Train Engineers and operations of Delivery Assurance within the value stream.
• Under supervision, support development and execution of Delivery Assurance activities, including solution schedules, timelines, critical path, reporting, scoping, and RAID process through implementation and deployment.
• Collect progression data and create status reports to track actual vs. planned progress of initiatives and dependent initiatives.
• Monitor data and tools for tracking issues and risks through formally defined processes.
• Assist with conflict identification and escalate for resolution between teams when dependencies or risks create delivery bottlenecks.
• Support execution of process and tools for tracking Scope Change Orders.
• Administer tools used by the initiative and Delivery Assurance.
• Work with Organizational Change Management (OCM) to ensure team members receive training on specific tools prior to deployment.
• Identify, monitor, and track internal and external program dependencies (integrations, environmental, business, technical items).
• Work with accountable individuals, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and Scrum Masters to identify and escalate dependencies across teams, including technical dependencies with System Architects/Engineers.
• Ensure integration points are documented and validated during development and testing phases.
• Utilize tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps) to visualize work flow and prioritize dependencies.
• Facilitate collaboration between teams to coordinate work and mitigate conflicts arising from dependencies.
• Support establishment of clear ownership and accountability for managing dependencies within each team.
• Communicate dependency information effectively to leadership and team members to ensure alignment and proactive problem-solving.
• Document dependency management methods and procedures.
• Define and track key delivery assurance metrics.
• Support team leads in establishing processes and standards for delivery assurance excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

• Delivery Assurance Intermediate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in delivery assurance, project/program/solution management, or operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in delivery management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Planview).
• Delivery Assurance Senior:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in delivery assurance, project/program/solution management, or operations.
  • Prior experience managing complex delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Delivery Assurance Lead:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in delivery assurance, project/program/solution management, or operations.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex delivery environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Agile, SAFe, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Expertise in delivery management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Planview).
