About the role
The Delivery Assurance Domestic Intern supports onsite supplier logistics production to assure supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series by using efficient problem-solving processes.
Responsibilities
- Support supplier requalification with project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA.
- Analyze data from 8D and FMEA to derive concrete solutions for wrong delivery prevention.
- Support the development of i-Learn classes and track training completion for the LQS competency concept.
- Conduct data processing in SAP, SQL, and Power BI, including running weekly and daily reports, data mining, and creating visualization tools.
- Support supplier communication and maintain the electronic team board as a key user.
- Audit rack cleanliness weekly with GEMBA walks in Hall 50 and Hall 52, documenting non-conformance for supplier charging.
- Support the Zero Defect supply chain project with project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA.
- Standardize daily LQS activities for supplier communication of issues, LOP management, and system updates.
Requirements
- Completed or pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills; experience with Power BI, SQL, or Data Lake is a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred).
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Effective communication skills.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
- Must complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
