Delivery Assistant

Job Description

Aid the driver in loading and unloading beverage products for customers. Duties include checking-in products with accounts, reviewing invoices, and merchandising products. Essential responsibilities include:

• Follow the truck route manifest to deliver products to customers.
• Accurately record invoices and other instructions on the manifest.
• Safely and efficiently deliver products according to the manifest.
• Verify accurate payment for invoices and handle returned products.
• Assist customers during deliveries as needed.
• Document customer receipts and collect payments as necessary.
• Handle service complaints and suggest improvements.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 19 years old.
• Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
• Driver's License and DMV record copies required before starting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Beverage delivery experience preferred.
• Good customer relations skills.

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
• Operate a pallet jack and hand cart safely.

Work Environment

• Moderate to high noise levels due to outside environmental noises.
• Inclement temperatures and weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
