Delivery and Set Up Driver
About the role
Review work orders to ensure proper products and equipment for each scheduled delivery.
Load or unload home appliances and electronics from delivery vehicles.
Deliver and install products in customer homes or other designated location.
Provide basic product information to customers during installation, addressing any concerns.
Communicate any issues with delivery and installation to salesperson.
Responsibilities
- Review work orders to ensure proper products and equipment for each scheduled delivery
- Load or unload home appliances and electronics from delivery vehicles
- Deliver and install products in customer homes or other designated location
- Provide basic product information to customers during installation, addressing any concerns
- Communicate any issues with delivery and installation to salesperson
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years delivery driving experience
- Experience using wheeled dollies, and other logistic equipment a plus
Qualifications
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes and work in stressful situations
- Ability to work as a team
Skills
- Ability to regularly lift objects over 100 pounds (with assistance)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, kneel, or squat
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
