About the role
As a Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’ll be actively involved in moving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise—both inside and outside the store. This role is dynamic, hands-on, and community-focused, offering variety and connection with customers every day. It also includes supporting store operations by assisting with merchandise handling.
This position can be the first step in a rewarding career path, with opportunities to grow into roles such as Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, or General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery
- Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle
- Assist with store tasks as needed
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help and engage with customers
- Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
- Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required)
- No overnight travel
Pay
The salary range for this role is $18.75 to $19.75 per hour.
