About the role

The company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to lead their team in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the deli department, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including inventory management and staff scheduling.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the budget and financial aspects of the deli department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position within the food service industry.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid California Food Handlers Card.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.

Pay

$25 - $30 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
