About the role
The company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to lead their team in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the deli department, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including inventory management and staff scheduling.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage the budget and financial aspects of the deli department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position within the food service industry.
- Proven ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Valid California Food Handlers Card.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
