Deli Manager
About the role
The Double Quick Deli Manager leads deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, managing inventory, analyzing sales data, recruiting, training, and coaching team members. This position also schedules and supervises staff, maintains vendor relationships, and ensures a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team that delivers friendly, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Oversee all deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and waste control to meet company and financial goals.
- Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities and improve profitability.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper product presentation at all times.
- Schedule and supervise deli staff to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Maintain vendor relationships and verify order accuracy and product quality.
- Support a clean, safe, and compliant work environment by conducting regular inspections.
- Model professional behavior, uphold company policies, and perform additional duties as needed.
- Adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Requirements
- Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
- Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
- Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
- Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.
