Deli Counter Clerk

Job Description

The Deli Counter Clerk will be responsible for:

• Providing excellent customer service to all customers
• Preparing and serving deli items such as salads and sandwiches
• Slicing meats and cheeses to customer specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Operating deli equipment such as slicers and fryers
• Stocking and rotating deli products
• Aiding with inventory management
• Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a deli or food service environment is helpful
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• An attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions
• A flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
