About the role

Lunds & Byerlys Maple Grove is hiring a full-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers. This position operates on a full-time schedule with shifts ranging between 2:00pm - 10:00pm, including weekends and evenings. Our store is open 7 days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Preparing chef-created deli recipes
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of cooking experience in deli or food service
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

Pay

Competitive wage of $26.25 - $29.13 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered within the range may depend on factors such as skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations.
