Deli Cook

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated Deli Cooks to join our team in a build-your-own sandwich station similar to Subway. You will prep ingredients (meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc.) and cook to order.

Schedule

• Position 1: Wednesday 2:00 PM–8:30 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM–8:30 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–8:30 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–8:30 PM. Days off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
• Position 2: Sunday 10:00 AM–8:30 PM, Monday 9:30 AM–8:30 PM, Tuesday 9:30 AM–8:30 PM, Wednesday 9:30 AM–2:00 PM. Days off: Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate culinary knowledge and technique with an emphasis on bakery preparation (scratch and convenience).
• Use pastry bags for cake/dessert decorating to support menu and special events.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, storing, labeling, and rotating product according to standards.
• Prepare quality menu items and food products following company recipes and presentation standards.
• Taste food items to ensure they meet standards.
• Accurately complete production records.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in a commercial production kitchen.
• Exhibit a “customer comes first” attitude.

Requirements

• Pass a background check.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 40 lbs.
• Constant standing and walking.
