About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is for a Part-Time Deli Clerk who will play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service.
Responsibilities
- Provide Helpful Service
- Help guests locate items on or off the sales floor and professionally answer the Deli Department telephone.
- Order Fulfillment
- Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
- Customer Service
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly using the boomerang principle to ensure a positive experience.
- Quality Control
- Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish all deli products on display to ensure high standards.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain proper inventory levels in the deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, and more.
- Food Safety
- Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
- Efficiency
- Ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
- Honor Commitments
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
- Support the Team
- Other duties as assigned.
