Deli Clerk

About the Role

Lunds & Byerlys Richfield is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing (Part or Full)-time Food Service Clerk to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a part-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50-$23.50/hr.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Wrapping, weighing, and pricing deli items accurately
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

Schedule

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts; open availability is ideal but we really need 12pm-10pm for sure and weekends are a must.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Customer service experience preferred; minimum of one (1) year experience in deli or food service

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification; communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
