As a Deli Associate you’ll be the welcoming face that greets and serves our customers with enthusiasm, craft delicious food with attention to safety, cleanliness, and taste, create both hot and cold culinary delights packaged to perfection, engage with customers while communicating specials and promotions, ensure the deli is pristine by maintaining cleanliness in all areas, anticipate inventory requirements to replenish and organize food service supplies, welcome vendor deliveries adhering to high standards, and be provided with opportunities to learn multiple responsibilities through cross‑training in all store functions.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers with enthusiasm
• Crafts delicious food with attention to safety, cleanliness, and taste
• Creates hot and cold culinary delights, packaged to perfection
• Engages with customers while communicating specials and promotions
• Maintains deli cleanliness in all areas
• Anticipates inventory requirements to replenish and organize food service supplies
• Welcomes vendor deliveries adhering to high standards
• Learns multiple responsibilities through cross‑training in all store functions

Requirements

• Reliable and friendly individuals who enjoy working with the public
• Dexterity to work around, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products safely
• Operating knowledge of weighing scales, slicers, and cash registers
• Ability to understand and follow food safety and sanitation instructions and regulations
• Physical ability to lift heavy products (up to 40 lbs) and work standing for extended hours
• Willingness to work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands
• Capability to communicate effectively with co‑workers and managers
• Enthusiasm to work as part of a team
• Capacity to learn quickly
• Basic math and computational skills
• Applicant must be 20+ years old (to be eligible for cross‑training)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

$11‑$13 per hour. Shift differential may be available.

Flexible hours available; part‑time and full‑time options with flexible scheduling.
