Delegated Behind the Wheel Trainer
Salary Range
Salary range: $28.35 - $34.43 per hour (5 step increments - per contract: highest placement w/experience is step 3). Includes district benefit package.
Work Year
Work schedule: 8 hours per day (Assigned hours are flexible) / 240 days per year
Requirements
- Valid California Commercial Driver's License
- Medical examination card
- Valid California Special Driver Certificate with School Bus endorsement
- Valid ARC First Aid Certificate
- Must be able to obtain a California State Department of Education Delegate Behind-the- Wheel Trainer certificate
- Disqualifications: Any moving violation point or at fault accidents on DMV drivers record per California Department of Education Delegated Behind-the-wheel trainer guidelines

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Supplemental course work in education or related social science field desired
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience with a minimum of one year in an educational setting required
