Requirements / Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to high school graduation and five (5) years’ experience as a school bus driver, one (1) year of which involved transporting handicapped students.
• Must have a clear driving record with no citations or accidents within the DMV reporting period.
• Required Certificates/Licenses:
  • Valid California Commercial Driver’s License of the appropriate class with proper endorsements.
  • Valid California School Bus Driver’s Certificate.
  • Medical Examination Certificate.
  • California Department of Education Delegated Behind the Wheel Trainer Certificate.

  • Current Resume
  • Three (3) Letters of Reference/Recommendation
  • Copy of transcript(s) verifying college level coursework and/or degree
