About the role
You will be working in our Dover, DE location providing support and service to clients by receiving and processing orders related to corporate public record filings and document retrieval. This role involves working full-time and in-office from 9am to 6pm EST, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, coworkers, correspondents, jurisdiction employees, and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner
- Regular, late coverage in our Delaware office for direct, online access to utilize the state filing system
- Utilize systems to “build” transactions and release various portions of the order to coworkers, correspondents, or state/county offices for processing
- Access public record websites to file and retrieve publicly recorded documents
- Review, prepare, and submit filings, paying close attention to rules and regulations
- Generate proposals for clients, including fees and turnaround expectations
- Maintain clear records throughout transactions to ensure accurate results and invoicing
Requirements
- You have direct and relevant industry experience in nationwide corporate transactions, including, but not limited to, formation, qualification, merger, conversion, amendment, withdraw, and dissolution filings.
- You are familiar with the Delaware Corporate Information System (“DCIS”).
- Preferred: You have 5+ years of experience in corporate public record filings and document retrieval.
- You have strong organizational and time management skills: You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments. You have a strong attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency when processing orders to completion.
- You have excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You communicate in both a professional and friendly manner with clients, coworkers, correspondents, and others.
- You are adaptable: You are eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. You can adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You have strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
- You are trainable: You have the ability to retain and implement instruction and training. You are open to learn and navigate our current processes and systems. You are not afraid to ask questions.

- You are comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents.
- You are able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and work 100% onsite.
Qualifications
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- You are able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule
Full-time and in-office from 9am to 6pm EST, Monday through Friday
