About the Role

We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support a wide range of banking activities. In this role, you will assist clients with account services, financial guidance, transactions, and product recommendations while building long-term relationships and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized customer service through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
  • Aid clients with account openings, updates, closures, and general account inquiries.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide basic financial guidance, including budgeting and savings recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services that meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and account information.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and branch management, addressing issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to support branch operations and service initiatives.
  • Travel to regional branch locations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of customer-facing experience, preferably in banking, retail, or hospitality.
  • Previous retail banking experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with banking software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and standard office technology.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between branch locations.
