About the Role
We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support a wide range of banking activities. In this role, you will assist clients with account services, financial guidance, transactions, and product recommendations while building long-term relationships and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized customer service through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
- Aid clients with account openings, updates, closures, and general account inquiries.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide basic financial guidance, including budgeting and savings recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services that meet client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and account information.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and branch management, addressing issues and resolving conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to support branch operations and service initiatives.
- Travel to regional branch locations as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to two years of customer-facing experience, preferably in banking, retail, or hospitality.
- Previous retail banking experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with banking software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and standard office technology.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between branch locations.
