About the role

The successful person will join a well-respected, effective and friendly team and will manage a portfolio of learners across a range of apprenticeships, working closely with the academic team and employers to deliver Tripartite Reviews, set action plans, help learners to build their portfolio, and work towards a successful End Point Assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners and employers throughout their programme.
  • Develop Apprenticeship provision in collaboration with the academic team and employers.
  • Manage a portfolio of learners across a range of apprenticeships.
  • Work closely with the academic team and employers to deliver Tripartite Reviews, set action plans, help learners to build their portfolio, and work towards a successful End Point Assessment.
  • Ensure robust evidence is collated to meet the DfE Funding Rules and to satisfy Ofsted.

Requirements

  • Experience of supporting skills acquisition (for example in teaching, training or apprenticeships).
  • Learner-focused approach combined with knowledge and experience of the skills agenda.
  • Experience of working within one of our priority sectors (Data & Digital, Engineering, and Biomedical & Health) would be advantageous.
  • Good internal relationships and familiarity with the programs offered.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with employers.

Pay

£35,608 to £47,389 per annum, the standard expectation is for new staff to be appointed at the bottom of the APM salary scale, depending on skills and experience.

Schedule

This is a permanent, full time post (36.25 hours per week).
