About the role
The Yale School of Medicine offers a comprehensive MD program designed to prepare students for a successful career in medicine. The program includes various committees, such as the MD Admissions Committee, Progress Committee, and Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee (EPCC).
Responsibilities
- Assume primary patient care responsibility at the highest appropriate level possible within the specialty area, directly interfacing with the patient, the medical team, the nursing staff, and any other services.
- Total immersion in day-to-day activities, tasks, and responsibilities of patient care.
- Solidify and apply advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and professionalism.
- Engage in clinical rotations including subinternships and clinical electives.
Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must have completed undergraduate studies, hold a bachelor’s degree, and meet specific GPA and MCAT requirements. Additionally, they should have completed prerequisite courses and demonstrate strong academic performance.
Qualifications
