Defense Mission Expert, Senior

About the role
As a Senior Defense Mission Expert, you will apply deep mission experience, operational insight, and strategic advisory skills to help defense clients solve complex operational challenges. Your background enables you to think critically, question assumptions, and deliver solutions that support mission success. You will bring leadership, strategic, tactical, and technical expertise in areas such as DOTMLPF, MDMP, and high-level combatant command operations. You will partner with multidisciplinary specialists in cyber, digital, engineering, science, and analytics to research, analyze, assess, and support mission requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with high-level military organizations such as combatant commands
- Experience supporting or advising defense missions at the senior level
- Expertise in DOTMLPF, MDMP, or developing joint military capability requirements
- Ability to research, analyze, and develop mission solutions
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and brief senior leaders
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
Nice to have
- Experience with Security Force Assistance, including command
- Experience with joint or service mission initiatives
- Experience in cyber, digital modernization, engineering, or analytics mission areas
- Experience in military service at the O-6 level, including command
- Experience supporting homeland security, joint, or foreign threat operations

Pay
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
