Responsibilities
- Organize and streamline processes/procedures
- Derive the root cause through on-site verification, investigation, and ignition analysis of safety issues
- Conduct a reproducibility experiment to verify the probable cause of a field issue
- Cell/Module/Pack tear-down analysis and reporting
- Analyze structural and design safety risks of automobile & battery (Pack to Cell) system
- Analyze Risk and cause through buyback and issue adjacent cell analysis
- Analyze the cause of battery failure through precision analysis equipment
- Analyze the battery-usage-history data using right tools (Python, MATLAB, C …)
- Create instruction and diagnostic manuals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience, including internship or co-op experience, in a Quality Engineering role or Reproducible experiment work in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or with EV/PHEV-related projects is a plus
- Fundamental problem-solving skills related to use data-analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, C …)
- Comfortable working independently and with others

- Project and process management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Techically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
- Capability to use 3D CT analysis program (non-destructive testing)
- Knowledge of IATF16949 standards
- Knowledge of Minitab, Six Sigma, 8D problem solving methodology
- MS Office Suite and Minitab
