Sole Communications Link
- Sole communications link to driver, including, but not limited to, load information, advances, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling, and dissemination of general company news and information.
- Ensure data entry accuracy at 99.5%.
- Manage driver turnover to stay within the ideal range (preventable turnover should never exceed 60%).
- Achieve utilization of 310-326 MPU per day.
- Ensure minimal service failures and on-time service.
- Maintain safety standards, including hours of service, unsafe driving, and CSA scores.
- Communicate road conditions and restrictions to drivers.
- Report driver medical conditions and attendance issues to HR.
- Escalate driver complaints and handle them promptly.
- Plan future workload with Load Planners and other Fleet Managers.
- Maintain equipment and meet service schedules with Service and Breakdown departments.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrated decision-making ability with little supervision.
- Intermediate user ability for Microsoft Excel.
