About the role
The Dedicated Care Navigator supports mental and emotional health for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at a hospital system. This is a full-time on-site position with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and core EAP functions to a hospital system, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a flexible onsite presence and adjust work schedules as needed to meet the unique needs of hospital operations, team members, shifts, and critical events.
- Operate at the top of your clinical license by delivering individualized support, consultations, workshops, group programming, and interventions that address the specific mental and emotional health needs of each site.
- Ensure a personalized approach and reduction of barriers to care through in-the-moment member support, assessment, crisis intervention, triage, referral, and ongoing follow-up.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Spring Health by actively promoting, marketing, and increasing awareness of the full suite of Spring Health services.
- Collaborate with Spring Health care support and clinical teams to assist members with creating digital accounts, completing online screenings, accessing employer-sponsored resources, and scheduling provider appointments.
- Partner closely with Employee Wellness, Human Resources, site leadership, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute site-specific mental and emotional health strategies, initiatives, and engagement opportunities.
- Lead and support proactive outreach, educational programming, and awareness campaigns designed to reduce stigma and increase utilization of mental health and emotional wellbeing resources.
- Post-event critical incident event follow-up to ensure ongoing support and recovery.
- Conduct consultations and training for leaders, Human Resources, and other stakeholders regarding EAP referrals, workplace concerns, team wellbeing, psychological safety, and available support resources.
- Collect, maintain, analyze, and report on program data, utilization trends, engagement metrics, and outcomes while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Develop, administer, and evaluate surveys and feedback mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of interventions, trainings, critical incident responses, and site-specific programming.
- Document activities, member interactions, and support efforts in accordance with Spring Health and employer requirements to track engagement, outcomes, and quality.
- Support members in navigating Spring Health resources, employer-sponsored benefits, and community resources.
- Participate in promotional activities, onsite events, educational sessions, and leadership meetings to drive awareness, engagement, and utilization of Spring Health services.
Requirements
- Georgia unrestricted behavioral health licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist with minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Ability to work onsite at four locations outside of Atlanta; Marietta, Hiram, Austell, and Douglasville. Some occasional local travel to alternate worksites may be required.
- Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources.
- Tech and computer savvy: very comfortable adopting new technologies and platforms. Efficient in tech-related tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to go above and beyond and to multi-task and context switch!
Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred.
- EAP experience (CEAP preferred).
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience with mental health and wellness programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
