Announcement Type USAJOBS Position Type Permanent Locations (City, State) Vicksburg, Mississippi Position Overview/Duties About the Position: As a Deckhand Leader assigned to the Dredge Jadwin you will work under the general supervision of the Master, Mate, Pilot, or other higher graded employee. Sets the pace for and works with Deckhands in performing duties. NOTE: The duty location of this position will be wherever the Dredge Jadwin is located. NOTE: This position is a full time permanent seasonal appointment. You will be placed in non pay status when work is unavailable. Other Conditions And Requirements Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation. Direct deposit of pay is required. This is a Career Program (CP) - 24 position. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
