About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deckhand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and a passion for the maritime environment.
Locations: Marina Bay in Quincy, Town Landing in Winthrop, and our main location at Commonwealth Pier in Seaport.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure safety of all passengers.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their overall experience.
- Assist in securing vessels as necessary.
- Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety protocols on board.
- Work for extended periods of time without sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems is a plus, indicating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks associated with deckhand responsibilities is essential.
