Deck Framing & Construction Crew Members
About the role
Burton Lumber is hiring multiple full-time team members to join our residential deck framing crew! We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a basic understanding of carpentry or construction. Previous framing or construction experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right people. Our team works year-round, preparing materials in our shop and building decks at residential job sites throughout the valley.

Responsibilities
- Build and frame residential decks
- Prepare and assemble materials in our shop
- Travel to residential job sites throughout the valley
- Use hand and power tools for construction and framing
- Follow plans, measurements, and job specifications
- Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Basic understanding of carpentry or construction
- Previous framing or construction experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Own tool bag preferred (company tools provided)
Pay
Starting at $20+/hour, depending on experience.

Employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from work each day; a company vehicle is available for transportation to job sites, although employees may occasionally be asked to drive themselves to a job site.
